At the beginning of 2020, as we are four women set out on a journey. We realized that, our grannies bequeathed to our mothers chest was full of art. Even though our mothers could not give us the chests, they left us lace, wire laces and cross-stitch made from our traditional handicrafts.
Us?
In fact, we didn't even want what came from our mothers.Then we thought that we will not leave any of them to the next generations! We are the bridge generation, if we do not do something for the transfer of these arts, this transfer will not continue.
And we took that responsibility, we founded @the_grannie. Beautiful people have always come our way, and they have stood by us by forming The Grannie Support team. Now, we support the production of women and craftsmen, together with our huge support team and customers we reach from more than 20 physical stores, and ensure that our traditional handicrafts are passed on to the next generations.So we do good things!
Each of The Grannie products is handcrafted by Anatolian Women in cooperation with Women's and Art cooperatives. Every product you buy helps a woman get closer to her dreams, while also contributing to cultural sustainability.
She graduated from Textile Engineering ITU in 2015. Gained experience in various companies. She received training on entrepreneurship in the USA. She has been conducting business development and marketing activities for The Grannie since 2020.
She graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Architecture in 2015. After working in various companies, she opened her own architectural office. she has been playing an active role in Design and Production while transferring his experiences to The Grannie since 2020.
